Our History
The story of STIC lab started back after the inception of the modern testing industry. With the aim of providing quality testing, Surat Textile Industries Chemical Lab was established in the year 2002 under the able guidance of our founder & mentor, Mr. Bhupendra Singh Mehra. Our founder completed his M.Sc. in Life Sciences from the University of Allahabad in the year 1983. While he was struggling to earn a living, he came up with the idea of a textile chemical inspection & testing lab.
Initially, the company faced many hardships as the idea was not readily accepted by the Textile Industry in the formative years. People barely had any knowledge about the scope and importance of chemical testing in those days. However, Mr. Mehra didn’t let his spirits stumble and remained determined towards his goals. With the passing time, people became aware of the importance of chemical testing and how it helped them improve their industry products for the better. That was the turning point for the company and there was no looking back. Many industrialists started approaching us and we soon became the industry leaders.
